Jack Irvine and Me – How One Tweet Can Be Misrepresented – A Case Study

Back in August I wrote a blog post which referred to a statement from the official Rangers website. You can read my full post here.

It covered the attempt by Rangers to deal with “inaccurate stories” and also referred to Jack Irvine, PR and crisis management guru extraordinaire.

Jack Irvine 1

I wrote the following:-

And then, in its penultimate paragraph, the fans are advised that only by reading Pravda the official website will they know the truth – thus implying that every media organisation and newspaper is “anti-Rangers”.

And then, in twelve words which I will quote as the message it sends would be diluted by using my own words, the end of a long and mutually fruitful marriage is signalled:-

“Finally, Jack Irvine of Media House does not speak for this Club.”

Jack Irvine and Media House have been “hand in glove” with Rangers over many years – they were closely connected to Sir David Murray in his time as owner (and with his companies outside football). They worked for Craig Whyte and also continued to serve Rangers loyally during the Duff and Phelps reign. Between February and June 2012 Media House did £124,000 of work for Rangers which, by that stage, was being run by administrators. (In addition Rangers (in administration) paid almost £30,000 to Spreckleys for “media consultancy in connection with the administration” – as I commented at the time, the administrators needed PR people separate from those of the football club, but still charged the company in administration for that!)

Media House continued to work for Rangers until only a few days ago. And now that has come to an end.

Knowing Mr Irvine’s extraordinarily successful track record in PR, crisis management and the rest, and on the basis that he is now, apparently, advising the Easdale brothers, one suspects that placing Rangers on the opposite side from Mr Irvine might not be the wisest move they have ever made.

It will be interesting to see how media coverage of Rangers changes, if at all, over the next few weeks – how prominent will the Easdales become? How likely is it that they will seek to speak directly to the fans via the media because, after all, if they are in the Green camp, they will not have use of the official Rangers sources to do so?

So, to conclude …

Will the dropping of Mr Irvine in such a blunt way rebound on Rangers?”

It is not surprising that a man whose business is in communication then read a piece which referred to him. And then came the fateful “mistake” which has been used to denigrate Mr Irvine by those who do not like the people he represents, or is assumed to represent.

On 18th August Mr Irvine tweeted a link to my piece above and added:-

Well worth a read. Very perceptive.

This provoked an immediate reaction from a few folk who wondered how Mr Irvine could possibly refer in positive terms to something written by a “Rangers hater”.

(Now, a quick quiz question – what do the three people in the following pictures have in common?)

Karl MArx

Mr Irvine was quick to position himself as someone who was not necessarily a fan of mine with his follow-up tweet.

I read Mein Kampf and Das Kapital. That doesn’t mean I like Hitler or Marx.

Now, if I was an unduly sensitive or even litigious soul, I might have demanded an apology for being compared to Adolf or Karl. How dare Mr Irvine accuse me of being a Nazi or a Communist!

But actually that was not what he was saying (If Mr Irvine does actually place me alongside them then I would be grateful if he could tell me).

What he was saying, in the limited space allowed by Twitter, was that referring to one post as being “well worth a read” and “very perceptive” was a long way from becoming the founder member of the Paul McConville Fan Club, nor had he been engaged by me to provide his excellent PR services.

Rather he had read a piece which he found interesting – that was it.

And there the matter might have rested.

However since August the myth has grown that in some way Mr Irvine is actually a member of the “Rangers-hating” cabal and the evidence for this is (a) his initial tweet – all six words of it and (b) his giving an interview to Andy Muirhead of Scotzine.

Mr Irvine was speaking out for Craig Whyte in the summer of 2011 when he said:-

“What we won’t be is knocked around by kneejerk politicians and by others across the city. We’re drawing a line in the sand. Sectarianism is a problem but it is not the sole problem of Rangers.”

No one was calling him “Toxic Jack” then and indeed he and Craig Whyte were being praised for speaking out and defending the mighty Rangers.

Two years later things were different.

John DC Gow, blogger and co-founder of the “Rangers Standard” tweeted the following later in August:-

Jack Irvine, who supports some of the views of Paul McConville, now speaks for Craig Mather and the Rangers Board.

On a strict view one could say that suggesting that one post was perceptive and worth a read = supporting some of my views. But in the real world that is clearly not the case. Maybe Mr Gow has been privy to conversations where Mr Irvine has been vocal in praise of me but I don’t think so.

It suited Mr Gow to use the guilt by association approach. If Mr Irvine supports some of my views then manifestly how can it be right that he “speaks for Craig Mather and the Rangers Board”?

It might seem bizarre that, even if that was Mr Irvine’s position, it would not prevent him doing an excellent job for his clients. Some people seem a bit confused about what PR people do!

This was followed by Chris Graham who, in a piece on the Rangers Standard website in August, said the following:-

Irvine, it appears, will do literally anything to spread his message. That extends to the promotion of the work of Paul McConville. McConville is a Celtic blogger (and discredited lawyer) who has spent the last two years attacking the club at every opportunity, but Irvine was happy to promote a recent article of his on Twitter because it suited his own agenda. Principle is left at the door.

Maybe Mr Graham is prevented by his appearances on TV and radio from doing his research. In any event he manages to get wrong my blogging identity – I am not a Celtic blogger. Indeed the assumption is made very clear here that anyone who writes negatively (as they perceive it) about Rangers is by definition a Celtic blogger. People of a Rangers-supporting bent sometimes criticise me for not paying attention to my own team and only writing about Rangers.

He also suggests that I have spent two years “attacking” Rangers. If pointing out, along with others, the modus operandi of Craig Whyte, the bizarre antics of Duff and Phelps and the history of Charles Green and share flotations is “attacking” Rangers then perhaps Mr Graham and his pals might have paid some more attention to what was being said!

And as for “promotion” – one tweet. Just one tweet. Quite how Mr Irvine’s tweet was him leaving his principles at the door, I simply do not understand.

We move on to another example.

The Copland Road Organisation is another “Rangers blog”. Andy McGowan, one of the contributors, had this to say in a post on 3rd September 2013:-

Jack wasted no time in telling us he’s here to represent Rangers and not the board. He certainly has a funny way of defending the club. His cosy relationship with Paul McConville and Scotzine’s Andy Muirhead—two men who have been slandering the club with half-truths and full lies for years now—should set alarm bells ringing for anyone unconvinced about this man’s intentions. There is something very strange about the relationship between these two Rangers haters, Irvine and his PR pawn Bill McMurdo.

Now Mr Irvine’s tweet has turned into a “cosy relationship”!

And apart from Mr McGowan’s defamatory suggestion that I have been slandering Rangers which I am happy to ignore, the only thing that is strange about the “relationship” between me, Andy Muirhead, Jack Irvine and Bill McMurdo is that it does not exist!

Moving to 13th September 2013, we then have William Poole, another Rangers blogger:-

For his part Irvine, who has spent many years allegedly acting for Rangers, but actually working for prospective owners, promoted a blog by arch Rangers hater Paul McConville, then added insult to injury by allowing himself to be interviewed by another Rangers hating Celtic supporter Andy Muirhead for Scotzine.

Remember, it was just one tweet by Mr Irvine that set all of this off.

And finally no campaign of denigration would be complete without the intervention of the master of the inky trades David Leggat. He has been writing in ever more insulting terms about Mr Irvine for some time now and last week reached the stage of indicting him with the charge of being linked with me.

And what do we know of Jack Irvine’s links with McConville and Muirhead? Of McConville, nothing except Irvine’s endorsement on Twitter of one of McConville’s barmy blogs.

Maybe Mr Leggat all you know about the links between me and Mr Irvine – one tweet – is actually all there is!

And even today Mr Leggat continues on his merry way, referring to Mr Irvine:-

Indeed, we may even see him being forced to resort to such Rangers hating on-line outlets as Andy Muirhead’s Scotzine site, where he has already been interviewed and shamed lawyer Paul McConville’s ramblings, already praised by Irvine.

Just as it will be interesting to see how Jack Irvine attempts to earn his solid gold corn – and bonus? – by spinning that. Keep your eye on Merlin. And Paul McConville. And Andy Muirhead. And Philmacgloillabhain (sic). And that renegade bunch.

And all of this dates back to one tweet.

Now, I do not mean to insult Mr Irvine by coming to his defence. He does not need me to do so, being more than capable of looking after himself.

But it is ironic that all of the different people mentioned above have commented on my own inaccuracies (though they generally call them lies) and yet here are peddling a line which has no grounding at all in fact.

From reading Alistair Campbell’s diaries of his time working with Tony Blair, it is very clear that when the spokesman or spin doctor becomes centre stage then their effectiveness is diminished.

What unites Messrs Graham, Gow, McGowan, Poole and Leggat? They are vigorously opposed to the present Board at Ibrox. Mr Irvine’s company works for Rangers. But to the critics he is not working for “Rangers” but for the Board – and those two concepts can be distinguished.

So, all on the basis of one tweet, Mr Irvine is tarred with the brush of being in a “cosy relationship” with an “arch Rangers hater”.

And as is ever clearer every day, especially online, why let the truth get in the way of something said on the internet?

After all, wasn’t it Winston Churchill who said:-

“Ninety five percent of what you read on the World Wide Web is rubbish (except of course for Paul McConville’s excellent blog).”

    T-Boned at a Red Light

When I lived in the States an English friend was T-boned (hit from the side) by a massive pick-up truck running a red light at high speed. It totally destroyed her mid-sized hatchback and could have turn her to pate. The cops arrived and seemed unconcerned and suggested it may have been partly her fault. You see she hadn’t allowed for the American tendency on fast arterial roads to interpret an amber light as a signal to accelerate to beat the red. So red jumpers in America are often accelerating – not creeping through gingerly.

The relevant – oh – yes – Ally wants to spent more money to boost his squad in January – so losing over £1,000,000 per month (£1,400/hr) is a signal we need to spent more to beat oblivion – only in America Ibrox !!!!

  2. @Wonka….. is it any wonder that the British Armed forces are despised the world over, especially when they enlist Fuds like you.

btw the way wonka, how about retracting the lies you posted earlier about Ireland being a theocracy, post partition.

Regarding your secret society, The Freemasons have only recently started admitting Catholics as an act of desperation, because of declining membership. The reason you have not gained in employment via your membership is because Freemasons are now held in ridicule by progressive members of society, & let us not overlook the obvious….. You are a Fud…. & who would want to give a Fud like you a decent job,

Oh & by the way……your old team is dead & your new one is dying…. lol, haw haw haw

Mac, “The Freemasons have only recently started admitting Catholics as an act of desperation”
Stick to discussing subjects you have at least a little understanding of fool.
“”His music is by no means just entertainment; it contains the whole tragedy of human existence,”
Do you know who said that in 1996 ? It was Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. Do you know who he is ? Do you know who he was talking about ?
It was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart .
Now maybe YOU think that Mozart, a Freemason and a Roman Catholic was born “recently”. I’d beg to differ. Lol.
      What a clown !

      • Yes wonka, I know all about Mozart & his “Magic Flute”, I also know about Cagliostro & other Catholic Freemasons. I know all about the history of the Freemasons, an organization that long ago was a progressive underground movement seeking to separate church from state, freedom of reilgious practice & to move society towards democracy. However, like all secret societies it lost it’s purpose along the way, particularly in Scotland & England, became entrenched in the chaos & politics of post Reformation Scotland & England, adopted an anti Papist ethos & became a job club for aspiring Protestants, which you are well aware of.

Now Wonka… that Irish theocracy you were lying about…… ?

If you dont know….and despite your claims ..you dont…dont comment.

@mac, so you “know all about” it, YET , ” The Freemasons have only recently started admitting Catholics as an act of desperation”.
You can’t have it both ways. Lol.
You’re sounding more and more foolish by the post.
          Fool ! Lol !

It’s a common fallacy to believe catholics arn’t or can’t be Masons….I think some of the confusion tends to be the connection between the “Ludge” and freemasonary in Britain…..a true mason would detest the comparison….and winky isnt bright enough to know that…..as for being a sojer…..you can be anyone you want to be in here…..did you get kicked out winky…did they beast you till you screamed for yer mammy……flat feet to go with your flat head…

      • david

        Facts only confuse them.
Catholics were not barred from becoming Freemasons by Freemasonry.
Catholics were barred by the Catholic Church- in other words, by themselves.
They have no concept whatsoever of Freemasonry , or why it has attracted some of the greatest minds of the last few centuries.
And for anyone to deny that Eire was part theocracy defies belief.

        • Clarkeng

          @David & Jamie
You’re both absolutely correct and there are many RC Freemasons in both Scotland and England who practice without any prejudice from within but who would not be welcolmed in their own church if they divulged this.
I would just like to add one fact to the comments and that is that the Vatican holds what is considered to be the largest and most detailed collection of wriiten media on the origins and current operation of the lodge and in the early sixties 1964 to be exact the Vatican was about to lift the ban on the people of the RC faith becoming members.
Unfortunately the scandal of the pill broke causing the poor pope to have apoplexy regarding all the fornication about to take place.
The fact that this did not happen did not prevent many RCs enrolling and quite a few rising through the ranks to become Masters in their lodges and to go further to Provincial and beyond.
Unlike the bigoted posters on here it is an organisation which does not allow religious bigotry to pervade itself.

          • Clarkeng

As you seem to have some knowledge could it be that you have jumped the dyke and entered a civilised society of men?

            • Jamie

I’m all for free thinking and such…but any secret society in this day and age makes me think of the Judean peoples front….or is it the Peoples front of Judea from life of Brian….Splitters the lot of them!!

If Winky is claiming to be a Mason he’s full of poo! maybe they need to have another look at their application process!

Catholics Unveiled Masonic Jewish Plot in 1936

In 1936, two Catholic newspapers published accounts of speeches given at arecent B’nai Brith conclave in Paris. It spells out the Illuminati Jewish program of world domination as well as the Protocols of Zion

Secret Jewish Plot Unveiled by the Catholic Gazette of England (First Posted here March 26, 2010)

In the London Catholic Gazette of February 1936 a sensational article was published under the heading: “The Jewish Peril and the Catholic Church”. The monthly organ of the Catholic Missionary Society of England was quoting speeches delivered in a series of secret Jewish meetings in Paris. A few weeks later, the Parisian weekly “Le Reveil du Peuple” published a similar account, adding that the statements had been made at a recent convention of the B’nai B’rith (secret Masonic order in which no Gentile is admitted) held in Paris.

The article of the “Catholic Gazette” read as follows:

That there had been and still is a Jewish problem no one can deny. Since the rejection of Israel, 1,900 years ago, the Jews have scattered in every direction, and in spite of the difficulties and even persecution, they have established themselves as a power in nearly every nation of Europe.

In view of this Jewish problem, which affects the Catholic Church in a special way, we publish the following amazing extracts from a number of speeches recently made under the auspices of a Jewish society in Paris. The name of our informant must remain concealed. He is presently known to us, but by reason of his peculiar relations with the Jews at the present time, we have agreed not to disclose his identity nor to give away any further details of the Paris meeting beyond the following extracts which, though sometimes freely translated, nevertheless substantially convey the meaning of the original statements.

“As long as there remains among the Gentiles any moral conception of the social order, and until all faith, patriotism and dignity are uprooted, our reign over the world shall not come.

“We have already fulfilled part of our work, but we cannot yet claim that the whole of our work is done. We have still a long way to go before we can overthrow our main opponent: the Catholic Church…

“We must always bear in mind that the Catholic Church is the only institution which has stood, and which will, as long as it remains in existence, stand in our way. The Catholic Church, with her methodical work and her edifying and moral teachings, will always keep her children in such a state of mind, as to make them too self-respecting to yield to our domination, and to bow before our future King of Israel…

“That is why we have been striving to discover the best way of shaking the Catholic Church to her very foundations. We have spread the spirit of revolt and false liberalism among the nations of the Gentiles so as to persuade them away from their faith and even to make them ashamed of professing the precepts of their Religion and obeying the Commandments of their Church. We have brought many of them to boast of being atheists, and more than that, to glory in being descendants of the ape! We have given them new theories, impossible of realization, such as Communism, Anarchism, and Socialism, which are now serving our purpose…The stupid Gentiles have accepted them with the greatest enthusiasm, without realizing that those theories are ours, and that they constitute our most powerful instrument against themselves…

“We have blackened the Catholic Church with the most ignominious calumnies, we have stained her history and disgraced even her noblest activities. We have imputed to her the wrongs of her enemies, and thus brought these latter to stand more closely by our side… So much so, that we are now witnessing to our greatest satisfaction, rebellions against the Church in several countries… We have turned her clergy into objects of hatred and ridicule, we have subjected them to the contempt of the crowd… We have caused the practice of the Catholic religion to be considered out of date and a mere waste of time..
“And the Gentiles, in their stupidity, have proved easier dupes than we expected them to be. One would expect more intelligence and more practical common sense, but they are no better than a herd of sheep. Let them graze in our fields till they become fat enough to be worthy of being immolated to our future King of the World…

“We have founded many secret associations, which all work for our purpose, under our orders and our direction. We have made it an honour, a great honour, for the Gentiles to join us in our organizations, which are, thanks to our gold, flourishing now more than ever. Yet it remains our secret that those Gentiles who betray their own and most precious interests, by joining us in our plot should never know that these associations are of our creation and that they serve our purpose…

“One of the many triumphs of our Freemasonry is that those Gentiles who become members of our Lodges, should never suspect that we are using them to build their own jails, upon whose terraces we shall erect the throne of our Universal King of Israel; and should never know that we are commanding them to forge the chains of their own servility to our future King of the world.

“So far, we have considered our strategy in our attacks upon the Catholic Church from the outside. But this is not all. Let us now explain how we have gone further in our work, to hasten the ruin of the Catholic Church, and how we have penetrated into her most intimate circles, and brought even some of her Clergy to become pioneers of our cause.

“Apart altogether from the influence of our philosophy, we have taken other steps to secure a breach in the Catholic Church. Let me explain how this has been done.

“We have induced some of our children to join the Catholic body, with the explicit intimation that they should work in a still more efficient way for the disintegration of the Catholic Church, by creating scandals within her. We have thus followed the advice of our Prince of the Jews, who so wisely said: ‘Let some of your children become canons, so that they may destroy the Church’. Unfortunately, not all among the ‘convert’ Jews have proved faithful to their mission. Many of them have even betrayed us! But, on the other hand, others have kept their promise and honored their word. Thus the counsel of our Elders has proved successful.

“We are the Fathers of all Revolutions – even of those which sometimes happen to turn against us. We are the supreme Masters of Peace and War. We can boast of being the Creators of the REFORMATION! Calvin was one of our Children; he was of Jewish descent, and was entrusted by Jewish authority and encouraged with Jewish finance to draft his scheme in the Reformation.

“Martin Luther yielded to the influence of his Jewish friends, and again, by Jewish authority and with Jewish finance, his plot against the Catholic Church met with success…

“Thanks to our propaganda, to our theories of Liberalism and to our misrepresentations of Freedom, the minds of many among the Gentiles were ready to welcome the Reformation. They separated from the Church to fall into our snare. And thus the Catholic Church has been very sensibly weakened, and her authority over the Kings of the Gentiles has been reduced almost to naught..
“We are grateful to Protestants for their loyalty to our wishes – although most of them are, in the sincerity of their faith, unaware of their loyalty to us. We are grateful to them for the wonderful help they are giving us in our fight against the stronghold of Christian Civilization, and in our preparations for the advent of our supremacy over the whole world and over the Kingdoms of the Gentiles.

“So far we have succeeded in overthrowing most of the Thrones of Europe. The rest will follow in the near future. Russia has already worshiped our rule, France, with her Masonic Government, is under our thumb. England, in her dependence upon our finance is under our heel; and in her Protestantism is our hope for the destruction of the Catholic Church. Spain and Mexico are but toys in our hands. And many other countries, including the U.S.A., have already fallen before our scheming.

“But the Catholic Church is still alive..
“We must destroy her without the least delay and without the slightest mercy. Most of the Press in the world is under our Control; let us therefore encourage in a still more violent way the hatred of the world against the Catholic Church. Let us intensify our activities in poisoning the morality of the Gentiles. Let us spread the spirit of revolution in the minds of the people. They must be made to despise Patriotism and the love of their family, to consider their faith as a humbug, their obedience to their Church as a degrading servility, so that they may become deaf to the appeal of the Church and blind to her warnings against us. Let us, above all, make it impossible for Christians outside the Catholic Church to be reunited with that Church, or for non-Christians to join that Church; otherwise the greatest obstruction to our domination will be strengthened and all our work undone. Our plot will be unveiled, the Gentiles will turn against us, in the spirit of revenge, and our domination over them will never be realized.

“Let us remember that as long as there still remain active enemies of the Catholic Church, we may hope to become Masters of the World… And let us remember always that the future Jewish King will never reign in the world before the Pope in Rome is dethroned, as well as all the other reigning monarchs of the Gentiles upon earth.”

Do you still believe that Jesus walked with dinosaurs?

Scientists Prove Jesus Walked with Dinosaurs

            By Moses Rosenberg 22/02/2008 05:51:00

            Jesus riding a dinosaur

PETERSBURG – Kentucky – A panel of prominent scientists and paleontologists have discovered new groundbreaking evidence that Jesus walked with dinosaurs.

Jesus and his disciples walked with dinosaurs 2000 years ago and the earth and universe are only 10,000 years old.

Independent scientists funded by the Christian Neocon Church of Kentucky have also discovered that Adam and Eve wore fashionable garments given by God. This goes against the grain of the popular belief that they wore leaves over their genitalia in the garden of Eden.

These are just some of the myriad of facts which have now been discovered to be true by the scientists working in tandem with archeologists all over America.

            Evolution Myth

Professor Alan Johnsons from the University of Mobile, Alabama says: “Blasphemers and evolutionists deny the fact that humans and dinosaurs coexisted. This is not the true Christian path that God and Jesus wrote

“Children and adults outside of America are indoctrinated with the false ‘belief’ that man did not co-exist with dinosaurs starting from early childhood with books that teach it. It’s reinforced in their school systems, the media and the entertainment industry.

“God wrote in the bible that he created humans and dinosaurs on the same day. Jesus walked and talked with dinosaurs. He even had one as a pet sometimes – an Agilisaurus which he kept in his carpentry workshop. We have eyewitness accounts and scientific evidence about this, folks, and it’s all in the Bible.”

The scientific study was not only all encompassing with profound discoveries in three continents, but also took over twenty years of research to finally come up with definitive answers to everything.

George W Bush has even been named patron of the creationist movement and was last year honoured at Kentucky Fry University with a Masters in Young Earth Studies.

The University at Kentucky Fry has also discovered dinosaur footprints dated 2000 years ago alongside the footprints of man. This incredible discovery alone is enough to cement the theory.

It is hardcore discoveries like this and a dinosaur claw mark on the Turin Shroud which have proved evolutionists are wrong in every way.

            More Great Bible Facts

            – Jesus had pale white skin with blonde hair and blue eyes and this endeared him to his pet Agilisaurus.

            – There is evidence to suggest that Jesus and his disciples had mullet haircuts.

            – The disciples of the messiah would often travel on the backs of large flying dinosaurs similar to the Rhambphorhynchus Anurognathus on their way to the sea of Galilee. The large flying reptile Pterosaurs are also mentioned from the teachings of the lord Jesus Christ himself when speaking with Nicodemus (Jn. 3:14).

            – Noah’s Ark carried many dinosaurs including the Tyrannosaurus Rex and Brachiosaurus as well as tiny insects and bugs.

            – Adam saved Eve from being eaten by a Carnotaurus one day and was rewarded with intercourse. This is how the human race initially multiplied.

            – Only Americans who believe in Jesus walking with dinosaurs will be taken up to be with him and all his friends in heaven when the Rapture comes.

According to a 2001 Gallup poll, about 59% of Americans believe that “God created humans and dinosaurs pretty much in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years or so.”

Another 27% believe that “human beings have developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life, but God guided this process.” Only 14% believe that “human beings have developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life, but God had no part in this process.”

          !!!!!!! Haw haw haw !!!!!!!!!

      • Kerrygirl

Yeah freemasonry was all inclusive except in Scotland just like your old club for 120 years

        • willy wonka

Hoopygirl [where’s oor money ! Lol ] The earliest known [genuine] relics of a Freemasonic Lodge are to be found in Scotland.
The only reason it DIDN’T become “all inclusive” was because some bigots “in Scotland” took what head office in Rome said literally and decided that all Freemasons are all “devil worshippers”.
Other devil worshippers include Protestants, Jews, Muslims, Hindus and Zoroastrians. Get the picture ? – anybody who does not follow the Church of Rome.

        • Clarkeng

Well you might have a point there Kerry old girl…..because you could not be included but that is probably no bad thing.
There is nothing worse than a female ( well maybe eh? ) bigot shouting her trap off.
There always seems to be a smell of pish aboot them.
So the moral of the story Kerry is …..and I know it might be hard………..keep yer knickers on.
BTW are you called Kerry or are you inferring you are somehow descended from County Kerry.
Its just that there used to be a wee dyke called Kerry who went about with an older burd ( Maggie who was a diehard tim and always smelt of pish ) used to drink in our local.
Never did find out if she had been turned.

  4. Lets stop talking about dead & dying football clubs, lets talk about the present & the bright & luminous future of the Famous Glasgow Celtic,
Celtic, a positive force in Scottish society, an antidote to the poisonous culture entrenched in an asbestos ridden crumbling red brick structure in Govan, that will soon be converted into a Poundstrechers…. 🙂

Good luck to the Bhoys in Amsterdam tonight…

  5. Gortnamona

    Yea Mac

In contrast to the Sectarian Monstrosity which has never propagated anything other than hate and division.

Freemasons are bigots and racists and foul-mouthed scumbags.

    Proof somebody asks?

Well if their chosen spokesman is a bigot, a racist and a foul-mouthed scumbag and degenerate who uses child abuse as a distraction from the Rangers/Sevco disgrace, how much more proof is needed?

Hi – all you Freemasons out there. Are you happy to have the scumbag and degenerate named Wonker as your spokesman on this blog?

In the absence of a negative response, I will assume that you are and draw my own conclusions.

    • James

.Well said Gort, at the end of the day, how can any organisation which counts “riding the goat” as part of their rituals be anything other than dirty satanic arseholes.

      • david

Are you really so thick as to believe that Freemasons are Satanists?

      • Clarkeng

We all know you know better than that Bro James.

      • willy wonka

James. Freemasons have absolutely NO connection with “goats”. It forms NO part of ANY Freemasonic ritual anywhere in the world.

“James. Freemasons have absolutely NO connection with “goats”. It forms NO part of ANY Freemasonic ritual anywhere in the world”

Amazing what you can google eh……

    • david

More than happy for WW to speak.
Rather listen to his truth than your unhinged bigotry.

I dont go on the child abuse stuff though, it happens everywhere.
A Congregational Church minister from Larkhall was jailed for it 20 years ago.

      • willy wonka

@david, did the ministers supervisors or flock try to cover it up ?
THAT is the difference in the Torbett case.

        • JimBhoy

@WW nobody wants to talk about that sh!te mate, you have too keen an interest in molestation of the young for my liking and trying to align that to a religion is just fukin nuts… I am sure you know that, there are plenty of disgusting stories and scandalous cover ups from all corners of society who have been involved in those depraved acts, for you to try to put that onto one section of the community on a blog shows a sick mind and maybe a hidden secret.. Blog away by all means but I am sure EVERYONE on here, rangers lovers , haters and everyone else would just politely ask you to give it a by…

          • willy wonka

Jim, I’m not “trying to align that to a religion”. I didn’t mention any religion.
You lot want to blame me for the thieves and scoundrels who’ve managed to run amock at Ibrox then fine, I’ll continue to refer to the cover-up scandal at Parkhead. If some of you consider that it’s YOU I’m talking about then tough. That’s exactly what you are doing to me.
You don’t like talking about it. I’ve already said I understand that. But I’m not making it up. No lies. It DID happen.
I didn’t see you taking fannies like monti to task for downright lies about Bill Struth. YOU are guilty by association for failing to do that.

        • Kerrygirl

What do you know about it , who covered it up ? And why aren’t we talking about football

        • Jamie

This is obviously a subject close to your heart, someone asked you before to submit a guest post and nothing happened. Still you go on about cover ups….now you appear to be suggesting that the Catholic clergy are somehow involved. Do you ever look at what you write before you hit the send button?

Show us the evidence that there was a cover up by newspapers and other media outlets regarding Torbet. Do you think for a moment if Celtic had covered up the scandal the newspapaers wouldn’t have had a field day?

Strange that none of the victims are going public with accusations against the club dont you think, Given the present culture of victims coming forward and making historical claims of abuse in other cases, ie the Savile scandal…incidently another shameful prop you try and make use of to score points.

Alan Brazil, a victim himself was blatently clear that the blame lay with Torbet and not the club…and he would be more qualified to comment on the subject than you I think.

So where does this leave you winky bhoy? either put up or shut up…I’m sure that your fellow consprirators could help you with crayons and blank paper if you want to have a bash…..What’s it gonna be?

          • willy wonka

Jammies, are you another halfwit who just makes up lies ? No ? Then kindly point out where I mentioned the Catholic clergy and this subject on this thread.
            Take your time now.

            • Jamie

@david, did the ministers supervisors or flock try to cover it up ?
THAT is the difference in the Torbett case.

There you go…your inferring with your statement there was a cover up involving clergy….or are you to thick to realise what you write?

          • portpower

            @ Jamie

No need to mention the mans` name mate.

            • Jamie

              @ Gort

By Christ, I know from past experience that you lot are masters at distorting logic. But that post is simply incredible.

Celtic march on Amsterdam for another party in the Champions League.
Neil Lennon, who’s European record makes a sham of Walter Myths pathetic European exploits, is making a name for himself amongst the elite.
So far there have been no calls from the SMSM for Neil Lennon to become ‘Sir’ Neil Lennon.
Cries of there being a CL ‘whitewash’ for Scotland’s Premier Club by the Bare Bears have disappeared with a whimper although the Sevconians tendency to attend Celtic games and pay into our bulging coffers continues in earnest.

  8. jimCB

A french friend of mine who knows his history explained to me that after Culloden some of the Scottish nobility settled in La Rochelle in France north of Bordeaux They were still being hunted by the English and so formed a secret ‘masonic’ society. They released pamphlets, writings which stated their belief in a State without a King as the all powerfull ruler. Their writings and observations were noted by the french nobility and according to him their ideas paved the way for…..The French Revolution!

    • JimBhoy

@Barca “WATP Malcolm” ffs, that nonsense and his recent interview detract from any sympathy I had when Shockbridge was a cameraman.. I actually thought he (Malkie), of them all, was the best to take the club out the gutter, but he has shown that will not be the case..

So a 28 year old Sevconian has been convicted and received a 2 year ban from attending games, for throwing a Nazi salute at an UNDER 17’s MATCH between Sevco and Celtic.
Imagine the mentality of a 28 year old MAN doing such a thing. Not to worry, he wears a Poppy so it doesn’t count according to Wonky Willy and Cam t’bam.

The world of football will be watching. The mighty Glasgow Celtic will the there. All real football supporters of Scotland will be right behind their Scottish Champions. Except of course ”fans” of the club that has never played against Celtic in their history but still think they are rivals 3 leagues below the Champions. The world will watch as the Champions league music belts out. What to expect can the Glasgow Club get a result. Some may even ask can the Scottish champions win the Champions league for the second time! We can only wait. COME ON YOU BHOYS IN GREEN.

Rangers postpone next week’s match with Forfar due to international call-ups
    Check Swally’s coupon

  20. fergus slayed the blues

I just read the line ……….Sevco set to host the LOONS……. and thought they had agreed to hold the AGM

  21. Ally still does not feel as if he is a proper “rangers ” manager,
he has not yet been handed countless millions to spend on players, he is now panicking that the next window will come and go without him getting £millions to strengthen an OBVIOUSLY weakened and depleted squad, he must be given the money, he can’t allow the other squads of part timers in the 1st division to become stronger than his squad of full timers,
he is reported to be losing sleep thinking that a part time bricklayer might sign for some of the cannon fodder clubs his full timers have to play against

  22. Paul

Should they stay or should they go now.
The message sent out by Swally must send out alarm bells to any youngster who finds themselves plying their trade at present with Sevco. Swally is convinced on his return if ever that happens, that his band of merry men will be the second team in Scotland. So in reality he is talking about brushing all aside to take over the mantle carried by Celtic.
Aberdeen for example as with the rest of the teams making up the SPL are no easy mugs and this is where the Sevco fans fail to get the rhetroric used by McCoist. In order to beat these teams 4 times a season will require a squad that youngsters will find hard to fit into. The SPL for all it’s flaws is still a competitive step up to compete in and this shows week in week out, that the demands in fitness are of a high calibre and concentration levels must be high. this was witnessed at the weekend from Dundee Utd who almost pulled of a remarkable win against Celtic, however, like most teams have discovered you must keep up the mental focus and will for ninety minutes. This is evident with Sevco as most teams have only suffered defeats in the latter stages. it is only fitness that has been lacking as most of these teams are part timers and the demands of other day jobs take their toll. So their is no step up in class at the lower end and this why Sevco can gain the upper hand as their players have no other tasks during the week and enjoy the luxury of full time training. But it will be the same for the teams in the SPL and it will be evident that if the youngsters go head to head they will be found wanting due to lack of experience and creativity and to an extent the caliber of opponent they will meet.
The likes of Nicky Clarke etc are plying their trade in much the same way as they plied their trade with the teams they left, and they will not get any better. These players were not in great demand from teams in the SPL and it is obvious why. The teams in the SPL are more than capable with the squads they have to punch above their weight for a full season. To achieve second spot will require a full clear out of most Sevco squad and this will be mostly youngsters as they will be too short of the skills required. SPL players are learning every week and the demands they face are the demands expected of SPL players.
Every team in the SPL are full of experienced pros who know their way around the division, as was evident with the result Aberdeen achieved over Partick whom will learn quickly how hard it is to adjust to their new surroundings and will have to learn quick which i think they have grasped and look all right at present, nonetheless the winter and the long haul has still to take effect and suspensions and midweek fixtures will soon pile upon them.People like Butcher and similar managers in the mould of McInnes and McNamara know now what is expected to survive in the SPL and Sevco current squad would be a walk in the park.
So in order to achieve the dream proposed by McCoist some serious spending would be required to bring a team of the caliber he would require and serious money would have to made available for wages.
this iMO would render a clear-out and will see a lot of unhappy youngsters leaving the playing arena if the team they are playing even make it to the division they crave. A lot of rebuilding is required and anyone within the game knows this to be true however, some are deliberately skewing the picture and fitting an agenda that is devised to fool the punters and keep the money and hype going as it is their livelihoods also that is take when the reality no longer becomes a situation that can be hidden for much longer. The talk about challenging for top honours within a couple of year is pie in the sky and people are slowly realising and some are fearing the worst case scenario may see their team in the doldrums for a very lengthy period and this must worry the sighted not so much the blinded who will continue to believe the guff and continue to be fed shite for the foreseeable future and by the time it dawns on them may not have a team to follow.
This is my reading of the situation and others may disagree but from where i stand things are not getting any better and the money required is not appearing as losses are accrued on a daily basis.
Good luck tonight Celtic and may you continue to carry the flag for a nation that deserves better than the negative goodwill which will be in abundance.

    • cam

Excellent, one hour before a Celtic game the sad loon is waxing lyrical about Rangers!!
As an example of the turmoil that the glorious Glasgow Rangers cause inside the minds of the 2nd class mhob, this is just perfect.
With a combination of good fortune and careful planning i haven’t seen one second of Celtic’s European weekender, but from what i gather from the reports this Ajax team are pretty poor and lacking in dig. That’s a shame as this might allow that bunch of diddies to get third spot.
Hopefully the Ajax powder puff mob get tore in and a good few injuries get the Lemon exploding, which is the only entertainment they provide.

      • Ed Paisley

Did you read David’s post wishing Celtic well tonight? Even after all the flack he gets on here? David knows this Scottish club Celtic can do a lot of good for Scotland’s international profile. He is also a good sport.

How about you Cam – can you rise above petty rivalries and parochial tribalism to wish Celtic FC all the best for tonight?

C’mon Cam – remember it was a Dutchman that turned in Anne Frank and her family!

        • Ed Paisley

          Still waiting Cam……

        • david

Despite the filth and jackals inhabiting this site, I will wish ANY Scottish club well in Europe.

      • Eastside

Two weeks ago you were predicting 8-0 to Ajax, yes EIGHT – NIL!
Now Ajax are a “powder puff mob”, “pretty poor” and “lacking in dig”.
This has nothing to do with Richard Wilson’s appeasement piece for the Sevconians this week where he slated Ajax in a poor attempt to belittle Celtic’s fine victory over Ajax does it!?

  23. Franco

Hi guys really enjoy this blog but read comments about freemasons and would just like for accuracy to point out Freemasons were all catholic at one time and it was the church that excluded them not the other way round.I would not personally join them but as a catholic am not excluded hail hail

    Well done Mr De Boer.

  30. Fra

Unfortunately the game wasn’t televised this side of the world and streaming it is a pain in the arse. Looks like we were pish and didn’t deserve it, so fair enough. Dust ourselves down and have another pop.

Let me take you back to another team from the soo side in Glasgow. They did deserve it and they got it and what was it they got….

DEATH with a capital D. Liquidation = Death

They know it. We know it and there ain’t a damn thing they can do to change the fact. Gone but not forgotten. Mwahahahaha

    • @Fra
Aye mate, best team won tonight. Van Dyke, Lustig, and Kayal gave good accounts of themselves. Van Dyke in particular. Sammy Forrest and Commons were absent really. Forrest needs to realise he must go and get some ball if it s not being delivered. I would have hooked the other two instead of Kayal and Stokes.
Ajax goal was a lovely bit of rapid passing and movement. Not many teams would have defended it.
Both teams seemed to accept that a trip in a “safe” area was the best option to break down meaningful possession. The ref always waited to see advantage and had a good game. Unfortunately the bulk of fluid play came from Ajax. On the night, it was their night.!
We can’t complain. I don’t think many will.
      We had a bad game.
We know what we need to do to get through tthe group, but it won’t be easy, nor will it be impossible. HH.

So a week or so ago, i was asked about my views on Celtic fans abroad.

    • Fra

Sevco, the record has a group of Ajax fans attacking innocent Celtic fans. Idiots all over the world, not just on one side. If the story is correct, then deal with these thugs as they have no place in the Celtic family but until the story is verified……..

      • willy wonka

Forget what you’re witnessing bhoys. It’s just the craic……………

We’re just ;loved all over the wuruld ya know. Lol.

      • Sevco United

the Ajax fans did attack Celtic fans in a separate incident. They are scum as well.

Now. About the Celtic fans attacking 8 plain clothes policemen. Can we all just condemn them, agree that Celtic have an element of idiots as i said last week, and move on ?

Or are we going to apologise for them ?

    • bit of a strange photo in the report, seems to be a lack of fans of any team in it, plenty of police, plenty of litter, yet not one football top wearing fan to be seen.

Video: Footage emerges of Dutch hooligan attack on bar where Celtic fans were drinking
      6 Nov 2013 18:02

DUTCH hooligans tried to storm the pub where 50 Celtic fans were drinking ahead of tonight’s game with Ajax.

      watch the video,

the wee neutral on here,Sevco United, is straight on here trying to paint Celtic fans as the troublemakers,

      S U a serious pathetic Sevconian troll

      • Sevco United

For goodness sake, grow up. I know innocent Celtic fans were attacked. I watched the video earlier. The Ajax fans are scum.

Now tell me, Mr Deflecto, what does that completely separate incident last night have to do with 8 plain clothes policemen being attacked by Celtic fans before the game tonight ?

        • coatbrigbhoy

tell me Mr know it all,
if your a Celtic fan, and Celtic fans are under attack from Dutchmen, who in their wisdom decides to send in plain clothes policemen to deal with Celtic fans,

think it through, a squad of plain clothes policemen,
after the trouble caused by Ajax fans in Glasgow, after Celtic fans coming under attack since the day before by Dutchmen, the brains behind the police operation decides that high visibility police uniforms might confuse people,

so it would be better to use undercover plain clothes Dutchmen that no one can tell from the hooligans that have been causing trouble since yesterday

      • willy wonka

Coatbrig, didn’t you know ? That was yesterday. Lol. What about the carnage today ?

        • coatbrigbhoy

yesterday a mob attacks celtic fans,
the Dutch polices answer to that,
send in undercover plain clothes Dutch speaking Policemen to boss around Celtic fans,

what happened to all the police uniforms, did they all go to the cleaners today,

i am begging to think Sevco Uniteds police chief relation is on duty over there,

  33. Ajax fans wearing hoodies and masks are attacking Celtic fans, video evidence backs that up,
Then what, the Dutch police decide to send in plain clothes police men to restore order, can you picture it,
why bother sending in easy identifiable uniformed police,

who plans these things in advance ?

  34. Sevco United

This is exactly the mentality i spoke about last week. Theres always an excuse when its Celtic fans. They just cant accept their is scumbags in their support, all be it a lot less than Sevco.

Hold your hands up. People will think better of you. And we know how you like that.

    • Your problem is that you want them to be seen in a bad light, you will not listen to reason whatsoever, you remind me of someone or was he sometwo, is this your third personality denial/steerpike? The police were dressed like the hooligans who had cowardly attacked them earlier, probably minus the face covers, cowardly casuals don’t wear colours because that would make it too even, therefore the polis made arse’s of themselves by lurking like said cowards looking to make arrests, rightly or wrongly they got their arse’s kicked, their stupid mistake, celtic fans only fault here was, was that they were not going to be fooled by another gang of hooligans, which these polis could’ve been, better safe than sorry EH!

  35. Dan

Unlucky tonight. Still six points to play for though. I’m assured that Sevco got ther usual dodgy pen tonight .

  36. Sevco United

Its the Dutch police fault now. Are you Sevco in disguise CB ?

    • your the guy that was bragging on this thread that your related by blood and friendship to two chiefs of police,

what i am questioning is the use ,today, of undercover plain clothes policemen, obviously dressed to be UNIDENTIFIABLE from the fans they are mingling with, is that not the main reason police go in wearing plain clothes,
now, your a visitor to a dutch city, a group of Dutchmen start attacking you, then another group of Dutchmen turn up,
oh fek, you think.were are the police when you need them.

who organised that sort of policing ?

      • Sevco United

There is no point. You are right. It was everyone elses fault and Celtic should be proud of their fans once again.

        • coatbrigbhoy

funny how the wee pet, of a police chief can’t comment on the use of undercover policemen in the situation.

tell me do you honestly believe that that was the best way to send in the police, dressed as football fans, go on tell me that was clever effective policing.

of course Celtic should be proud,

self defence is not a crime,
or do you believe that you don’t have the right to defend yourself

          • Sevco United

I have a relative who is a Police Chief. I wouldnt dream of telling him how to do his job.

Who said they were dressed as football fans ? Where have you got this from ?

            • coatbrigbhoy

the town is full of football fans, the undercover plain clothes police are sent in to do their job,
              do they go in dressed
              A) the same as every one else
              B) as penguins
              C) policemen

would you expect the Celtic fans to take orders and respect the authority of
              A) people dressed the same as those attacking you
              B) people dressed as penguins
              C) people dressed as Policemen

            • Sevco United

So in summary. You made the part about them being dressed as Ajax fans up.

But lets say they were dressed as Ajax fans. Are you telling me that Celtic fans didnt encounter thousands of decent Ajax fans today ?

Your apologist attitude is utterly sickening. Face it. The guys who attacked the human beings dressed in police uniforms/plain clothes/Ajax tops/Mankinis/whatever they were wearing are utter SCUM !

Just as you are for taking sticking up for them.

            • Fra

Sevco, is he a Freemason or is it a secret

  37. willy wonka

Just the craic. Nothing to see here. Move along. Sweep sweep. Everybody loves us. They all want to see us. We’re the bestest fans in the whole wide wuruld.

  38. http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/shocking-ajax-ultras-fired-three-bullets-at-celtic-fans-through-a-glass-window-picture/

    could this be true ?

it will no doubt be dismissed as a lot of shyte.

on the other hand, if the headline with the photo read Ajax fans come under fire from Celtic Ultras, it would already be on the BBC and in certain newspapers

  39. Sevco United

So in summary. You made the part about them being dressed as Ajax fans up.

show me the post were i said the Dutch police were dressed as AJAX fans, i never said it, so who made it up ,me or you ?

hurry up,check All my posts on this topic then say sorry, because YOU made it up that i claimed that the police were dressed as AJAX fans.

    failed troll yet again

    • Sevco United

Sorry, you are correct. You said “tell me do you honestly believe that that was the best way to send in the police, dressed as football fans” If it wasnt Ajax fans they were “dressed as”, was it Celtic fans ?

      • coatbrigbhoy

you accused me of saying that they were dressed as AJAX fans, you did this to avoid answer the question you were asked about how plain clothes police would dress in that situation to be effective, you refused to answer, you just lied about me saying they were dressed as AJAX fans,

part two of the question, how should the police dress if they want Celtic fans to take orders and respect their authority, again, no answer,

are you waiting to your police chief “relative” wakes up before you answer,so you can ask him ?

        • Sevco United

You said they were dressed as football fans. I wrongly assumed that you thought they were dressed like Ajax fans as i know they werent dressed as Celtic fans.

Tell me, if they werent dressed as Ajax fans, then how exactly were they dressed, that made them look like a football fan ?

Are you for real here? 🙂

          • Sevco United

PS – Undercover cops dressed in plain clothes is an extremely common practice in the UK for preventing potential trouble at football games.

Why would Europe be any different ?

Why were these Police Officers attacked ?

Because they “looked like Ajax thugs” ?

Is this really going to be the excuse ?

“Im sorry mlud but i am in the right here. I dont care if he is a policeman, he looked like a thug and therefore i had every right to put him in hospital”

. The guys who attacked the human beings dressed in police uniforms……are SCUM

    what the fek ?

the story is about plain clothes policemen, now your trying to claim they were in uniform

    • Sevco United

      Nope. I wasnt. Did you miss all the / / / / / options ?

My point, which you probably deliberately missed in your defence of scumbags, is that the clothes they were wearing did not matter a jot.

They were attacked by Celtic fans.

They were hospitalised and their clothing had nothing to do with it.

“Oh look, theres a guy in jeans and a t-shirt. Im sure there was guys in jeans and t-shirts last night on that film. Lets batter him.”

FFS, get your head out of the sand.

      • coatbrigbhoy

if your getting attacked by a group of Dutch guys and another group of Dutch guys dressed the same as everyone else turns up, do you say, thank fek the undercover police are here ?
Celtic fans had been under attack since the arrived, your very interested in ignoring who started all the trouble, it was not caused by a TV breaking down,
        the city was not wrecked,
yet your now posting about UNIFORMED police getting attacked,

why were there no uniformed police on site, protecting the Celtic fans, why did a group of under cover policemen appear ?

        my head in the sand,

the topic i am discussing is the policing, the use of undercover police,

your latest attempt brought in uniformed police getting attacked by scum.

no uniformed police get attacked are mentioned in the report.

you had to bring that in, you lied already about me saying the were addressed as AJAX fans,

so making up lies and introducing uniforms is about what,

sticking to facts are straw clutching ?

        • Sevco United

Read my post again. Do you also think i believe policemen wearing mankinis were attacked or did you miss the part where i clearly put down various clothing option to try and ram home the point.

Now you bring up Sevco rampaging hoardes in Manchester where one of, if not the worst scenes in modern UK football were witnessed. Hows that for whataboutery.

Sevcos thuggery is not up for debate. They are miles worse than your lot.

Celtic fans hopsitalised 8 plain clothes policemen today. the decision to send them in with plain clothes matters not a jot.

          They are scum.

          • coatbrigbhoy

of course it matters you fool,

you really are thicker than the average Sevconian,

are Celtic fans accused of attacking and hospitalising any uniformed police tonight,
so do you not see how that demolishes your argument.

“the decision to send them in with plain clothes matters not a jot”

your just to thick for me to be bothered with

            • Sevco United

So its not ok to hospitalise policemen but it is ok to hospitalise 8 people, apparently dressed as football fans ? 🙂

Again i ask, are you for real here ???

            • coatbrigbhoy

who are you to label Celtic fans Scumbags for defending themselves from being Attacked,

only a fekwit would send in a group of unidentifiable, plain clothes policemen into such a volatile situation, was your “relative” seconded to this game by any chance ?

you claimed earlier that it is common for plain clothes policemen to police football fans at games. who told you this, your chief of police “relative”,

I would say if police are under cover at games they remain under cover, to gather intelligence and evidence,
i would serious doubt that they turn up as an unidentifiable group when one set of fans are attacking another, but maybe your “relative” has told you different.

            • Sevco United

Who said they were being attacked? The police have said : “At the end of the afternoon, a large group of Celtic supporters attacked police officers in plain clothes. Eight were injured and one left unconscious.”

“Bottles and sticks were used in the attack, which CAME OUT OF NOWHERE”

Are they telling lies? Were you there?

  41. Sevco United
    November 7, 2013 at 12:34 am

I have a relative who is a Police Chief. I wouldnt dream of telling him how to do his job

no surprise, this plonker is on here trying to pass him self off as an neutral while he is in fact an undercover Sevconian, must be hoping his “relative” will give him a job as he is so good at this undercover stuff.

does anyone else get a wee picture of him sitting at a computer, wearing a Blazer ,collar and tie,and a nice pair of brown brogues,
Uncle Bobby will be so proud, eh

    • Sevco United

Oops. You really dont like it up you, do you ?

You cant handle the truth, just as i claimed last week.

      • you lying about what i said, you adding on uniforms to the police that were attacked, if thats what happened, did Celtic fans just defend themselves, who knows at this point,

so your claiming that i cant handle the truth, but your the one that got caught out lying about what i said,

your the one that wants to introduce uniformed police to bolster your failed case against Celtic fans that your quite happy to call SCUMBAGS, the truth will come out,

iam ending my part in this as no point talking to a fool that needs to lie,

why no uniformed police on the scene, all the previous reports of Celtic fans getting attacked and the police from the land of King Billy go in wearing plain clothes, makes then about as bright as a Sevconian that follows the one club mantra so they can get fleeced by their betters,
how stupid are the Dutch police going in wearing plain clothes , about as stupid as the Sevco’s that believed Whyte then Green

        • Sevco United

Incidently, did you watch the Youtube video ? The one where Uniformed police are also involved ? Have you saw the pictures of the uniformed police with riot shields ?

Is there room under your carpet ?

      • willy wonka

sevco, you’re wasting your time. It was somebody, ANYBODY else who attacked and hospitalised the police. Just because they were dressed as sellik fans and singing sellik songs doesn’t mean they were sellik fans.
Keep your eyes on this one. I’m telling you, in a couple of weeks somebody here will be telling us that there was absolutely no trouble in Amsterdam. That the sellik fans received praise from the Dutch police. And a petition has been sent to UEFA demanding another “bestest fans in the whole wuruld” award. Just wait. Rewriting history is what they do.

  42. Sevco United

“At the end of the afternoon, a large group of Celtic supporters attacked police officers in plain clothes. Eight were injured and one left unconscious.”

“Bottles and sticks were used in the attack, which CAME OUT OF NOWHERE” they said of the fighting in Dam Square.

Police said a few officers “had broken noses and needed stitches above their eyebrows and on their lips”.

OUT OF NOWHERE they say ? But a guy in Coatbridge said they were dressed as football fans so they must have deserved it.

    FFS 🙂

    • again and again YOU LIE,
show me the post were i say “they must have deserved it”
      A Blatant lie

you’ve zero credability, twice on this topic you’ve come back at me lying about what i said,
does your Relative use you as an independant “witness” to help secure convictions for him ?

your running Dave King very close in the glib and shameful lying stakes,
how do you ever expect to prove your case on here if you have to lie about what someone else has posted, it’s so easy to read what people send in,

SO i never said the plain clothes police were dressed as AJAX fans as you said i did
and i never said the plain clothes police ” must have deserved it”

Sevco United, sitting at a computer at 2.00 am posting silly wee lies,
      sad sacks of a person

      • Sevco United

You said the police were dressed as football fans. Now for me, and i apologise for giving you credit for being semi-intelligent, someone dressed as a “football fan” would be someone wearing a football team colours.

How can someone dress as a “football fan” if they are not wearing something with Celtic or Ajax on it. Surely if they have nothing connected with football on any of their clothes then they are just dressed normally.

How were they dressed. Describe to me exactly what the police were dressed in that made them,in your own words “dressed like football fans”

        • coatbrigbhoy

          your a fekking liar,
twice you lied, about what i posted, so just fek off and don’t waste your time responding to me, this will be the extent of any replies a make to you in the future, fekwit liar.

I dont know about Willy, and i cant call you a liar because i dont know what a serving officer told you or not, but i am related to a Chief Constable and very good friends with the ex Chief Constable he took over from.

first “neutral” on the blog last night defending the Dutch polices use of unidentifiable groups of plain clothes police in such a volatile situation, and calling Celtic fans SCUMBAGS,
yes he needed to use capitals,

so Sevco just happens to be related to a chief constable that took over from his very good friend the chief constable, small world or small lodge
